Harry Scott of Dardanelle, former president of Thompson Industries Inc. at Russellville, died of natural causes in Heber Springs on Sunday morning, Cleburne County Coroner Waren Olmstead confirmed Monday.

Scott was 64. He was the majority owner of Thompson Industries, a manufacturer of treated wood railroad products, which was sold in 2011 to Stella-Jones Inc., a Canadian company, for a reported $41 million.

Olmstead did not know which funeral home would handle arrangements for the Scott family.
