Gander Mountain Completes $450,000 Remodel of Sherwood Store

Gander Mountain of St. Paul, Minn., announced Friday that it completed a $450,000 remodeling of its 67,000-SF store in Sherwood.

Gander Mountain, which offers items for sportsmen, now features a "firearms super center," that touts to have "one of largest selections of new and used firearms in Arkansas," a news release from the company said.

The store also sells men's and women's outdoor and casual clothes.

The remodeling project began about four months ago and was part of Gander Mountain's plan to remodel 29 stores nationwide.   

"It's exciting to bring our great selection of merchandise, a sharp new look and improved shopping experience to so many of our Gander Mountain stores," said David Pratt, Gander Mountain’s president and CEO.

The Sherwood location opened in 2005.
