Bill Clinton to Talk at Little Rock Symposium on Bosnian War

1 min read

LITTLE ROCK — Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to speak at a symposium in Little Rock about the Bosnian war that ended in 1995.

Clinton is to give the keynote address Tuesday at a symposium held at his presidential library in Little Rock.

The symposium, called “Bosnia, Intelligence, and the Clinton Presidency,” will also feature appearances by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and retired Gen. Wesley Clark.

The event comes as the CIA recently released more than 300 declassified documents related to the conflict.

The Bosnian war began in 1992 and claimed more than 100,000 lives. It ended in 1995 with the Dayton peace accord. Bosnia remained independent but divided into two autonomous regions.
