Steve Gray, vice president and general manager for AT&T's mobility arm in Arkansas and Oklahoma, announced his retirement this week.

According to Kelly King, AT&T's president for its central region, Gray's retirement will take effect at the end of the year.

"Steve is a tremendous and talented leader," King said in a statement. "He has been a valuable part of the AT&T family since 1989 and very active in the Little Rock business community."

Gray took the position at AT&T in November 2008, succeeding Larry Evans.

Evans then became vice president and general manager for AT&T's tri-state area, but will retake Gray's spot in the Arkansas and Oklahoma region after Gray retires.

"As he makes this transition over the next two months, he'll be working closely with his replacement, Larry Evans, who is returning to Little Rock where he had served previously in this role," King said.
