CARTI Opens Second Clinic in Conway

1 min read

CARTI announced Wednesday that it plans to open a second satellite facility in Conway, expanding its treatment services to include chemotherapy for local cancer patients.

CARTI Medical Oncology at 2425 Dave Ward Drive is scheduled to open Nov. 13.

“CARTI Medical Oncology treats almost 1,000 patients from Conway in our Little Rock office,” said Jan Burford, CARTI president and CEO. “By opening this office, we are making chemotherapy more convenient for those patients in and around the Conway area.”

The new CARTI clinic will be the second Conway location for the statewide cancer care network, which first opened a radiation therapy facility at 2605 College Avenue in 1996.

Treating patients at the new center will be Dr. Lawrence A. Mendelsohn, Dr. Thomas R. Sneed and Dr. Jamie L. Burton, who are all hematologists and medical oncologists.

CARTI is an independent, nonprofit network of cancer care facilities with locations in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Benton, Clinton, Conway, El Dorado, Heber Springs, Monticello, Morrilton, Mountain Home, Russellville and Searcy.
