IRS Singles Out Four in Little Rock for Tax Liens

It looks like the IRS was busy right up until the federal government closed its doors earlier this month.

In September, the IRS filed a flurry of six-figure tax liens against these people in Little Rock:

  • Thomas M. Gillum, $938,633, for not paying 1040 taxes between 1997 and 2002. The IRS filed the liens against him years ago, but had to refile them to keep them in force.
  • David Barnett, $135,509, for unpaid taxes between 2007 and 2008.
  • Paul W. Combs, $126,738, for unpaid taxes between 2002 and 2003.
  • Eugene Eberle III, $120,838, for unpaid taxes between 2009 and 2012.

We couldn’t reach any of the targets of the liens.
