Network Data Services Promotes Ryan Flynn to President (Movers & Shakers)

Ryan Flynn has been named president of Network Data Services in North Little Rock. Ryan was promoted from within after a successful 15-year career with the company.

Financial Services

John Bishop has been hired as vice president of commercial lending at the Conway branch of First Service Bank. Bishop brings more than 10 years of banking experience to the position.

Tom Prince will join the board of directors at Centennial Bank in Little Rock. Prince is a former mayor of the city of Little Rock and a former chairman of the Little Rock Downtown Partnership.

Michael A. Cook has been reappointed to a three-year term on the board of directors of the Little Rock branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Cook also serves as senior vice president and assistant treasurer of Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville. Mark White, president and CEO of Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Little Rock, has been appointed to a three-year term on the board. John Womack, chairman and CEO of Arvest Bank in Little Rock, has been appointed for one year to fill the unexpired portion of a three-year term on the board.

Mike Rushing has been promoted to executive vice president at Summit Bank and named to the Saline County board of directors for the bank. Prior to joining Summit in 2006, Rushing served Simmons Bank as a loan review officer.

Health Care

Mark Winslow was recently promoted to vice president of ambulatory care services at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Winslow most recently served as ambulatory care’s director of business operations.

Dr. Kenneth Vest has been named medical director of the Behavioral Health Unit at Mercy Hospital Hot Springs. Vest, who graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1990, previously served as medical director of Community Counseling Services Inc. of Hot Springs.

Accounting

Cody Griffin has been hired as a risk assurance partner at HoganTaylor LLP, a regional accounting firm based in Tulsa. Griffin, who will be based in Little Rock, most recently served as risk assurance partner with Frost PLLC in Little Rock.
