Network Data Services Promotes Ryan Flynn to President (Movers & Shakers)

Megan Greenland has been hired as the director of events and communications at Associated Builders & Contractors of Arkansas in Little Rock.


Robert C. McMath, the first dean of the Honors College at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, announced that he will retire in August 2014, following eight years of service as dean. McMath came to the university from Georgia Tech, where he taught history and held a series of administrative posts over the course of 33 years.


Marta M. Loyd has been named executive director of the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton. Loyd comes to WRI from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, where she has worked for 17 years, the last 12 of which were spent as vice chancellor for university advancement.


Thomas Hinrichs recently joined Tipton& Hurst in Little Rock as the company’s plant department manager. Hinrichs, who previously worked at Little Rock’s Botanica Gardens, will specialize in themed arrangements and interior/exterior plant designs. Carrie McGee has joined Tipton & Hurst as human relations manager and assistant to the president, and Mario Garcia was promoted to director of sales.
