ARK Challenge Readies for Little Rock Expansion; Warwick Sabin to Lead

Global Reach 

The launch of the ARK Challenge attracted startups from around the country and the globe. Three winners were named in each of the first two installments, when participants worked in the Iceberg co-working space in downtown Fayetteville. Demo Day presentations, during which teams pitched their finished products and winners were named, were held at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville.

Winners in the 2012 inaugural ARK Challenge were:

  • Btiques, a retail shopping app from Fayetteville
  • StackSearch, a cloud-based data search platform from Fayetteville
  • MineWhat, ecommerce analytics, from Bangalore, India.

The 2013 ARK Challenge winners:

  • Overwatch, a combat gaming app, of Bentonville
  • Info Assembly, investment research analytics, Dehli, India
  • Langhar, a mobile app that delivers a marketplace for home-cooked meals, also from Dehli, India.
