Dassault Falcon's 5X jet

Dassault Falcon Jet has scheduled an April groundbreaking for its new hangar at Clinton National Airport.

The new hangar will add 250,000 SF to Dassault Falcon’s completion center, which is currently just less than 1 million SF. Dassault Falcon announced in May its plans for a three-year $60 million expansion to make room for the company’s new 5X jet.

Officials said the facility should be complete in plenty of time for the start of production of the 5X, which is scheduled to begin in 2016.

Dassault Falcon reported it employs 1,750 workers, and an official said the new jet would bring in an unspecified number of jobs.
