Chris Marsh Makes Move to Boyette Strategic (Movers & Shakers)

Economic Development

Chris Marsh has joined Boyette Strategic Advisors in Little Rock as a senior consultant. Marsh most recently worked at Entergy Arkansas’ Office of Economic Development in Little Rock.

Education

Jon T. Rymer will be recognized by the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as its 2014 Distinguished Alumnus on May 16 at the Clinton Presidential Center. Rymer, who earned an MBA at UALR, serves as the inspector general for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Agriculture

Bauer Duke has been appointed as an extension aquaculture specialist with the Aquaculture/Fisheries Center of Excellence at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Duke first joined the fisheries department in 1997.

Energy/Utilities

Walter K. Compton was promoted to executive vice president and general counsel at Murphy Oil Corp. in El Dorado. Also promoted were Kelli M. Hammock, to senior vice president, administration; John W. Dumas, to vice president, corporate insurance; and Allan J. Misner to vice president, internal audit. K. Todd Montgomery was elected vice president, corporate planning and services.

Kirkley Thomas was promoted to vice president of governmental affairs at Electric Co-operatives of Arkansas in Little Rock. Thomas previously served as a manager of the company’s economic development department.

Financial Services

Donald Cook has been named the Arkansas state president of Bank of America, in addition to his role as Little Rock market president. Cook has more than 40 years of banking experience.

Government

Brad Henry recently joined the Arkansas Development Finance Authority in Little Rock as vice president of development finance. Henry previously worked at Stephens Inc. as a research associate covering telecommunications services.

Debra Asbury was recently appointed to the board of trustees of the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, D.C. Asbury has been the executive director of Arkansas’ Assessment Coordination Department in Little Rock since 2003.

Health Care

Dr. Joshua S. Tolleson has joined St. Bernards Surgical Associates in Jonesboro. Tolleson received his medical degree and completed his surgical residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock.

Dr. Youssef Yammine was named Physician of the Year at Mercy Hospital Hot Springs. Yammine, a pulmonologist and critical care physician, came to Mercy Hot Springs in 2012 after finishing a three-year specialty training program at the University of Oklahoma.

Eric Simpson was recently promoted to chief operating officer of IMWell Health in Little Rock. Sharon Alt was recently hired as vice president of sales at IMWell. Alt is a 20-year veteran of the employee benefits field. n
