Death Penalty Still Supported in Arkansas

With his term ending in less than a year, Mike Beebe could become the first governor of Arkansas since Frank White to not oversee a state execution. ()

Later this year New Hampshire is expected to become the seventh state in seven years to abolish capital punishment. But there's no reason to think Arkansas could join the 19 states that have no death penalty.
