Perkins Peiserich Greathouse Morgan Rankin (PPGMR) Law PLLC is opening an El Dorado office in partnership with Brian Ratcliff of the Shackleford Phillips & Ratcliff law firm.

Ratcliff will serve as managing member of the El Dorado post. He has been with the Shackleford firm for more than 24 years, and has experience in civil litigation defense, including workers' compensation, product liability, premises liability and wrongful death.

"It is a privilege to join such a respected firm," Ratcliff said in a news release. "We look forward to continuing to represent our clients as well as PPGMR clients."

Chase Carmichael, whose practice is focused on appellate advocacy and trial litigation, will be an associate at the El Dorado location.

PPGMR, based in Little Rock, is a full-service business-oriented firm with cases in gas, environmental, natural resources and agricultural law. The firm also specializes in commercial litigation and insurance defense, among other business-related matters.

"We are excited about the skill Brian and his team offer our clients," PPGMR managing member Julie D. Greathouse said. "Their reputation in providing civil litigation defense has already been a great complement to our existing practice, while our capabilities add strength to their current client services."
