Acxiom Wins 15 Internet Ad Awards

Acxiom's Digital Impact division was praised for its email promotion for customers of cosmetic giant Garnier.

Little Rock’s Acxiom Corp. came away from this year’s Internet Advertising Competition with 15 awards, including one best in show.

Acxiom’s Digital Impact division won Best in Show, Email Message for a campaign it carried out for the cosmetic giant Garnier.

The company was recognized as an Outstanding Advertising Developer among 12 other companies for winning six or more awards at the competition. Two of its 15 awards were related to its new Audience Operating System product.

Long considered to be the “biggest company you’ve never heard of,” Acxiom has been sticking its neck out in the advertising and marketing industry ever since it rolled out its consumer portal,, in September.

Most recently, CEO Scott Howe has appeared in several publications such as AdWeek and Advertising Age to talk about big data marketing techniques and other trends in the advertising sector, particularly the federal government’s renewed interest in regulating the type of ad services that companies like Acxiom deliver.

Acxiom’s awards included three for marketing efforts for Men’s Health magazine, one for Sony, three for Skype, two for Cigna, three for Garnier, one for Southwest Airlines and two for the company’s own AOS product.
