Dwight and Susie Everett founded Everett Buick GMC in Benton in September 2006.

Did you know a Bryant auto dealership is in the process of developing a new home?

Everett Buick GMC is shooting for a fall 2015 opening after land assembly was completed and construction bids will soon be gathered. The new facility will have 52,000 SF under roof and be on about 17.8 acres adjoining the east side of the current leased location at 21099 Interstate 30.

The last piece of the real estate puzzle was a 5.6-acre parcel purchased at year-end 2013 for $1.7 million from Hurricane Creek Land Development Ltd., led by Jim Lindsey.

This land will join 12.1 acres put together in four July 2010 transactions by Saline Holdings LLC, led by Dwight Everett, Chad Hendrix and Brandon Hudspeth.

Those deals involved buys of $2.1 million for a 7-acre parcel owned by Lindsey’s Hurricane Creek Land Development; $843,000 for a 3.1-acre parcel owned by Richard and JoNell Caldwell; and $607,000 for two parcels totaling nearly 2 acres owned by Christopher and Ashley Caldwell.

Everett was recently recognized as the No. 1 Buick GMC dealership in the country in terms of raw sales in 2013.

That’s according to Joe Neal of Little Rock, the ad man behind the low-key but curiously memorable television commercials featuring Dwight Everett’s wife, Susie.
