New Hires Saddle Up at Livestock Show Association (Movers & Shakers)

Angela Green, formerly interim senior vice president and chief nursing officer, has been promoted to vice president of performance improvement at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock. Green joined ACH in 1998 and has served as director of professional practice.


David Bridges, who spent 17 years as president and CEO of HMO Partners Inc. (Health Advantage), has been promoted to executive vice president and chief administrative officer for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield. Odell Nickelberry has been named director of human resources. Bridges joined the company in 1974 and in 1997 was promoted to president and CEO of Health Advantage and central region executive for ABCBS. Nickelberry has more than 20 years of HR experience, including positions at Abbott Laboratories, Cardinal Health and URS Corp.


Neil Elliott has been named marketing representative at KCWD/KOOL, 96.1 FM, and KNWA, 1600 AM, in Harrison. He has served as director of the North Arkansas Basketball Academy and has been a color commentator for the Harrison High School Goblins on KCWD.


Susan A. Steffens has been named executive director of the Arkansas-Oklahoma Cancer Support Foundation and Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House of Fort Smith. She was most recently executive director for the Donald W. Reynolds Crisis Intervention Center.


Jim Keenan retired March 31 as senior vice president of enterprise customer solutions for Arkansas Best Corp. of Fort Smith after 33 years of service with the company.


Steve Strickland will retire from Entergy Arkansas Inc. this month after 35 years of service, and he will be succeeded as vice president of regulatory affairs by Laura Landreaux. Landreaux, who joined Entergy Services Inc. as senior counsel in 2007, currently serves as manager of regulatory affairs.
