Inuvo CEO Salary Down, Compensation Up

The salary for Inuvo Inc. CEO Richard Howe fell in 2013, but his total compensation rose.

The Conway Internet marketing company filed its annual proxy statement Monday afternoon.

Howe's total compensation rose from $480,661 in 2012 to $803,189, but his base salary dropped from $395,000 to $370,889. The rest of his compensation came from $432,300 in stock awards.

Meanwhile, CFO Wallace Ruiz saw his base salary rise from $265,000 to $269,271, and his total compensation rose from $340,140 to $374,409 between 2012 and 2013. And General Counsel John Pisaris' salary fell from $335,000 to $306,271. His compensation also fell to $322,171 from $335,000.

The company announced that its annual meeting will take place 9:30 a.m. June 26 at its Conway headquarters.

Business at the meeting includes:

  • Re-election of two directors to the company's board.
  • Ratifying Mayer Hoffman McCann PC as independent auditor.
