Whole Foods Making Move to Bowman, Looks for Room To Grow

Whole Foods Market Inc. is getting a new Little Rock home next year. The high-end grocery store at 10700 N. Rodney Parham Road is expected to move into the former 39,200-SF Linens N Things store at 501 S. Bowman Road.

That move would leave a 22,500-SF vacancy at The Village at Pleasant Valley, a 90,400-SF retail center at 10700 Rodney Parham Road.

A manager at the Little Rock Whole Foods said the store’s current location doesn’t provide enough space for shoppers.

He didn’t have an exact date for the move. A spokesperson for the grocery-store chain based in Austin, Texas, didn’t return a voice message or email for comment.

So far, Little Rock has the only Whole Foods in Arkansas.

“We will provide only the highest quality of natural and organic products available, offered by genuine team members specializing in authentic ‘Southern Hospitality’ with each guest and each other,” Whole Foods said on its website about its Little Rock location.
