Rick Steel Coordinating Ad Production at Signal Media Radio Group (Movers & Shakers)

Rick Steel has been hired as production coordinator for three Little Rock radio stations owned by Signal Media: KKPT-FM, The Point 94.1; KHLR-FM, Heartbeat 106.7; and KABZ-FM, The Buzz 103.7. Steel has worked in Little Rock radio broadcasting for 25 years, starting at Cool 95 (now KHKN, 94.9 Tom FM).


Ethan Branscum has been hired as assistant director of commodity activities and economics for the Arkansas Farm Bureau in Little Rock. Branscum was previously an intern at the Farm Bureau.


Josh Meyer has been hired as business development manager at Viridian of Little Rock. He was previously employed as an HVAC service sales employee at Comfort Systems USA of Little Rock.


Barry Farris has been hired as vice chancellor of Arkansas State University-Searcy. The move follows Don Harlan’s departure this month.

Richard W. Henley has been named president and CEO of Conway Christian School. Henley has been on the CCS board for five years and chairman of the board for two years. He was also owner and broker at ERA Henley Real Estate of Conway from 1995 to 2014.


Scott Forbes has been hired as business development leader at Garver of North Little Rock. Before Garver, Forbes worked as office manager at Urban Engineers.
