Mike Beebe Plans to Issue 10 Pardons

1 min read

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe has announced plans to grant 10 pardons to applicants who have completed all jail time, fulfilled parole and probation requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences.

There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback on the proposed pardons before final action is taken.

Two additional requests for clemency were denied and eight requests had no action taken on them.

Six of the 10 applicants Beebe wants to pardon are from Arkansas. The other four are from Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Mississippi.
