Simmons Bank's Daniel Robinson Promoted to Northeast Arkansas Community President

Daniel Robinson has been promoted from commercial loan officer to northeast Arkansas community president at Simmons Bank of Jonesboro. He joins Barry Ledbetter, who was recently promoted to regional chairman for central and northeast Arkansas.

Robinson served as commercial loan officer for seven years after completing a six-month lending trainee program at Simmons Bank. He was recently named the 2014-15 president of the Arkansas Bankers Association’s Emerging Leaders Council, an organization he has been a part of since 2008. Previously, Robinson served as vice president during the 2013-14 term. He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville for his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, later obtaining a graduate banking degree from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In his community, Robinson serves as treasurer of the board of the United Way of Northeast Arkansas in Jonesboro. He previously was loan executive, commercial and independent division co-chair and special projects co-chair at the nonprofit organization. Additionally, Robinson is a member of the Jonesboro University Rotary Club and serves on the Simmons Bank Red Wolves Classic Committee.
