Tyson Foods Inc. of Springdale says it will cut about 190 jobs at its Glen Allen, Va., poultry processing plant as part of product changes, according to Reuters:
"This project is part of an ongoing effort to optimize the use of our poultry plants by ensuring we are producing the right mix of products to meet the needs of our customers," Donnie King, Tyson's group vice president of operations, said in a statement.
The changes take effect in June, the company said.
