Tommy May's Total Pay Reaches $1.1 Million in 2012

J. Thomas May, chairman and CEO of Simmons First National Bank Corp. of Pine Bluff, made more than $1.1 million in compensation in 2012, according to the financial holding company's annual proxy, filed on Monday.

James Lee Witt, a native of Dardanelle, was a Yell County judge chosen in 1988 by then-Gov. Bill Clinton to lead Arkansas' Office of Emergency Services. After Clinton was elected president in 1992, he named Witt to lead the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which he headed from 1993 to 2001.
