Professional Counseling Associates, a multi-clinic Community Mental Health Services provider in central Arkansas, is searching for Outpatient Clinical Therapists for our various locations. These exempt positions work under the supervison of the Chief Clinical Officer. Therapists performs psychotherapy or other appropriate clinical services in the treatment of clientele. An emphasis is placed upon building good, therapeutic relationships with clients and use of outcomes-based interventions. Therapists should maintain positive provider relations with community organizations, and provide internal and external customer service consistent with PCA’s goal of excellence and professionalism.
Essential functions include: Interview/assess clients; Perform individual, family and group psychotherapy as appropriate; Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans (PCA's and Managed Care); Perform psychological evaluations and assessments (LPE only); Compile, maintain and review clinical case records in compliance with PCA's guidelines; All paperwork meets PCA timelines and policies; Participates in the PCA Emergency Services On-Call rotation or in the Emergency Screening rotation.
Must be a qualified mental health professional as defined by State Standards. Past experience in mental health and utilization of community resources is preferred. Must have one of the following: Masters Degree in Social Work and licensed by state of Arkansas; or Masters Degree and licensed by state of Arkansas as Psychological Examiner; or Masters Degree and licensed as LAC or LPC by state of Arkansas.
* Adult and Child Maltreatment Registry background checks are required.
* A criminal background check, drug screening and TB test is required.
