POSITION SUMMARY
To provide superior service to all customers through inbound telephone contact insuring the Company meets and exceeds the demands of the customer. This position will strive to complete the service cycle from inquiry to resolution while making a positive and lasting impression on the customer. This is a position servicing Life, Disability, and Supplemental Health products sold by Transamerica Employee Benefits. Servicing includes performing address changes, general customer inquiries, loan requests, forms, etc.

PRIMARY DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Work in an inbound customer service call center.
? Satisfies the needs of customer requests, ensuring policyholders, agents, providers, and vendors receive accurate and timely assistance in regards to all aspects of company operations.
? Promotes excellent public relations with all customers and assists with the conservation of business.
? Research detailed situations to assure responses given to customers are complete and accurate.
? Prepare the proper documentation to be placed in Company records in relation to inquiry and resolution of calls
? Other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.
? Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
? Exhibits regular, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education and/or Experience:
? High School diploma or equivalent with emphasis on business related courses required.
? 2-3 years in a customer service related area required.
? Previous inbound call center experience preferred.
? General working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred/
? Preferred: One year insurance experience.
? Ability to handle bi-lingual/Spanish speaking calls preferred.

Equipment/Physical Demands/Environment:
? This position is located in an office clerical environment.
? Must be able to sit and work at computer for long periods of time.
