POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides outstanding services to larger and more complex clients by functioning as the primary contact with the Transamerica Employee Benefits sales staff, producers and clients. It responds to or directs resolutions to inquiries and acts as a subject matter expert in TEB products, technical capabilities and solutions, compliance, administration, and participant issues. It represents the company in new sales, re-selling, and retention situations including presentations for the purpose of maintaining, retaining, and driving profitability. Clients assigned to this position will include select accounts which may be larger and more complex, typically but not limited to those with over 5,000 lives or with a National employee base.
PRIMARY DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Oversight of all aspects of the client relationship for assigned clients, including the responsibility of retaining the client by developing multiple key contact relationships between the producer, client and internal TEB team members.
* Primary contact between the agent, and client ensuring that all administrative and service needs are met and following up to ensure the account is handled effectively and efficiently from inception to delivery of first bill.
* Assist producers and Regional Sales staff in the development of new and existing clients to increase TEB sales, including presenting at new sales, re-selling and retention opportunities, as needed
* Consult with brokers on how to do business with TEB (including but not limited to: Account set up, electronic enrollment options, group submission, contracting and initial billing).

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education and/or Experience:
Entry Level:
* College degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience required.
* 3 years minimum experience in insurance enrollment or insurance sales and marketing required
* 1 year experience providing customer service to large insurance clients
* Life and health insurance license highly preferred
* Worksite marketing and products knowledge preferred
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn additional software applications as needed required
Intermediate Level:
* College degree in marketing or related field or equivalent work experience required.
* 5 years minimum experience in insurance enrollment or insurance sales and marketing required
* 3 years experience providing customer service to large insurance clients
* Life and health insurance license highly preferred
* Worksite marketing and products knowledge required
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ability to learn additional software applications as needed required
