Description:

Designs, builds, optimizes, and creates capacity planning of multiple technologies including CDMA, EVDO, GSM, LTE, and UMTS. Provides technical support and turn-key engineering support for wireless system deployments. Other responsibilities will include RFP technical response support, RF design, propagation, and modeling; site survey when needed, technology solution assessments and recommendations, technical oversight, troubleshooting, monitoring statistics, and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities
?Assist management with completing daily tasks and special projects.
?Provide backup support for project planning, development, implementation and modification.
?Design wireless system using Mentum Planet 5.4 propagation software.
?Use internal company statistical tools to monitor statistics in order to improve network performance and act on time if any performance related issues are present.
?Monitor capacity trend lines in order to prevent any capacity problems in the network.
?Develop RF design forms, frequency forms, and search ring forms for new build sites, antenna modification, frequency changes and other planning projects.
?Support E911 group with providing RF related information on BSA document.
?Attend weekly meetings to discuss project plans and status with the team.

Minimum Requirements
?Bachelor?s degree in engineering or a related field and 3 years professional level experience; or 7 years professional level related engineering/technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience.
?Minimum 5 years CDMA, EVDO, GSM Engineering, designing, and capacity planning experience.
?Experience working on DAS solutions for PCS/Cellular/AWS/LTE.
?Knowledge of propagation modeling, especially with Mentum Planet Software.
?Fundamental understanding of the physics behind the RF wave propagation theory.
?Ability to apply RF math concepts to perform power link budget calculations, and compare different products via their technical specifications.
?Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to assess and correct location errors.
?Excellent communication and collaboration skills required to effectively communicate at all levels of organization and across functional groups.
?Strong presentation skills.
?Ability to use basic office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint.
?Ability to maintain a valid driver?s license and drive responsibly.

Desired Qualifications:
?Experience with LTE and UMTS Design.
