alt.Consulting is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) providing intensive consulting services and microloans to small businesses. Our target market is minority and rural businesses located in designated Delta counties of Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.
We are seeking a Loan Officer who will work with the Loan Fund Manager to expand and grow the loan program throughout our target market. The position is in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and requires travel throughout the target market.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Develop and strengthen the loan referral and partner network to achieve our goals
• Work closely with alt.Consulting Management Consultants to analyze loan requests
• Prepare written loan evaluations and recommendations for the appropriate loan committee
• Prepare the closing documents
• Ensure that documents are properly prepared and executed
• Maintain all loan files
• Work with the Management consultant to monitor performance and manage risk of active loan clients
Qualifications:
• College degree in business, finance, accounting or related field
• 5 plus years of business lending experience
• Strong financial skills
• Ability to work in team setting and articulate vision and ideas
• Entrepreneurial experience is preferred
• Must be willing to report to Pine Bluff office
• Must be willing to travel throughout target market
