MEDICAL RECORDS DIRECTOR-Central Arkansas
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or Technology and
one-three years supervisory experience in medical record management within a hospital setting. RHIA or RHIT required. Strong Microsoft skills, accuracy and attention to detail, along with good communication skills are required. Duties include planning, organizing, controlling and directing functions of the HIM Department, in addition to compiling accurate statistical data. Responsible for enforcing policies of confidentiality and release of medical information, and maintaining a medical record system that provides accurate and readily accessible medical records.
