Division of Biomedical Informatics
The Division of Biomedical Informatics is seeking an experienced programmer with up-to-date skills in software development to fill its' Applications Systems Analyst/Programmer- Senior position. This position develops innovative software to solve complex healthcare and medical research issues. The position also tests, implements, and performs upgrades to keep applications running smoothly. Application maintenance and troubleshooting, including custom report writing are part of this innovative job.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or similar degree plus three years IT experience, OR high school diploma plus 7 years IT experience. Proven programming experience in Java plus one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Visual Studio, Crystal Reports, PHP, ASP, or other web-based programming language. Relational database experience in Microsoft Access, MySQL, Oracle, Sybase, or Informix is a plus. The ideal candidate will be creative and self-directed, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
