Contracts Manager

Description:

Multi-disciplined engineering firm Garver seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to support the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department’s Connecting Arkansas Program. Through a centralized project management control system this position will oversee contract administration for design related and construction contracts. Duties will focus on maintaining a centrally available, unified version of the current contracts, correspondence, and all contract actions.

Additional responsibilities:
-Developing contract management procedures
-Developing and implementing a standard invoicing review procedure, and processing invoices
-Tracking contract commitments, supplemental agreements and change orders.
-Reporting to Project Controls Manager on contract status
-Verifying compliance with contact terms
-Assisting Project Controls Manager with payment schedules

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
-Proven skills in negotiating, writing and interpreting contractual agreements
-Proficiency in accounting, time management, and personal organization
-Expert user of Microsoft Excel
-Strong communication abilities
