Meetings and Exhibition Coordinator


Rapidly growing Association Management Company seeks mid level meeting management professional with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsible for detailed planning & execution of multiple regional conferences from logistics to onsite management. Position is fast paced and requires 25-30 nights/yr travel including some weekends.

Primary Job Functions:
- Develop and execute professional association chapter meetings
- Develop and manage conference timeline
- Evaluate meeting space, lodging and related venues and services to ensure a consistently high standard of quality
- Negotiate and execute contracts, BEOs and other industry suppliers based on budget
- Speaker and chapter board communication
- Brochure development and conference marketing
- Onsite meeting management and prep work
- Accountable for conference budget and attendance goals

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of meeting management experience required
- Available to travel 25-30 nights/yr
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective project management & problem resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills & detail orientation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
