Adjunct Spanish Professor


The Humanities Division at Philander Smith College invites applications for a part-time Adjunct Spanish Professor position for the Spring Semester 2014, from January 6th, 2014 through May 2nd, 2014.

Philander Smith College, a historically Black institution affiliated with the United Methodist Church, has as its mission “to graduate academically accomplished students, grounded as advocates for social justice, determined to change the world for the better”. Our mission statement specifically calls for the College to prepare its graduates for more than a lucrative career, but for a sense of calling to better their communities.

The successful candidate will teach both Elementary and Intermediate level Spanish grammar.

Minimum requirements:
Master’s Degree (Doctorate preferred) with at least 18 graduate hours in the field of Spanish. Teaching experience on the college level is preferred, but not required.
