ArCom Systems, Inc., a leader in the Systems Integration, Life Safety, & Physical Security Industry in Arkansas, is seeking highly motivated candidates for the position of Installation Technician Crew Leader to join our rapidly growing team of professionals in our Springdale, AR office.
Installation Technician Crew Leader’s Job Purpose: Reporting to the Installation Field Supervisor. Crew Leaders work under the guidance of the Field Supervisor and are required to complete all tasks assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Inspecting all systems and units, detecting defects.
-Repair, replacement and refurbishing of all electrical units and damaged parts.
-Appropriately handling all testing and electrical repair tools and equipment.
-Effectively managing time and completing all tasks delegated by the supervising authority.
-Installing electrical units and systems.
-Appropriately reading electrical blue prints and schematics and planning all work processes accordingly.
-Attending job training and other related activities.

Skills / Qualifications:
-Two/Three years experience in the commercial fire alarm industry.
-High School Diploma, GED.
-Clean criminal history and drug free.
-Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
-Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
-Significant construction knowledge and design experience.
-Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards and set a positive example for crew members.
-Experience in nurse call, cctv, and card access.
-Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to identify technical malfunctions in electrical units.
-Sound understanding of handling and using electrical repair tools and equipment.
-Ability to effectively manage time and complete all tasks assigned by the supervisor.
