Large Commercial Property Management Firm seeking Director of Facility & Maintenance.
The primary goal of this position is to create a skills based, centralized facilities department to support a large commercial real estate portfolio. The Director has overall responsibility of all aspects of facilities management for a client organization including quality customer service, physical plant strategic planning, and client reporting, monitoring vendor services, maintaining operations budgets, personnel management and achieving cost efficiencies. Responsible for all expense projects and assigned capital projects in the portfolio.
Provide support and guidance to Property Management Department/Property Managers.
Lead and direct the operations of the Facilities Department.
Daily management of maintenance personnel.
Upkeep of buildings and equipment.
Direct the strategy development and implementation for the department.
Improve staff production efficiencies.
Lower building utility usage through research and innovation where possible.
Create efficiencies in costs and preventive maintenance.
Minimum of 5 years comprehensive experience in facilities management plus a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Experience in commercial HVAC, electrical and plumbing with a background in construction project management.
A valid driver’s license.
