GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Troubleshoot software and minor network issues when the Senior Systems Administrator or IT Manager are unavailable; provide software support and training to clients. Maintain up-to-date regulatory procedures and documentation and generate reports for customers. In the event of a disaster, employee will provide technical expertise and assist other members in recovering business services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Monitor phones for helpdesk calls from customers. This duty is performed daily, about 80% of the time.
•Monitor alerts and reports for all systems and firewalls. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.
•Generate reports for customers.
•Configuration changes to existing infrastructure systems.
•Infrastructure deployment and configuration for customers.
•Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
•Basic knowledge in computer technology
•Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office Products,
•Exposure to Microsoft Server 2003/2008
•Excellent troubleshooting skills
•Must possess excellent customer service skills
•Ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions
•Proven communication and organizational skills
•Excellent customer service experience
•Associates Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Experience with core banking applications
•Microsoft Server technologies, Network LAN connectivity, and Internet connectivity troubleshooting.
•Working knowledge with supporting and maintaining network infrastructures, network security, local area networks (LAN) and providing remote customer support
