Medical Records Coordinator


Medical Records Coordinator Home Health Agency Little Rock, Arkansas: Care IV Home Health's Little Rock branch is now hiring for the full-time position of Medical Records Coordinator! As our Medical Records Coordinator, you will perform a variety of office duties, including but not necessarily limited to: filing, faxing, managing and organizing Little Rock patient medical records, collecting nursing and therapy notes from staff, scanning documents, note corrections, tracking notes & orders in the computer, answering phones / transferring calls, contacting medical facilities, clinics, etc to obtain signed doctor's orders and related paperwork, and other general office duties as assigned. For our Medical Records position, we are seeking a friendly, dependable and professional individual with the following attributes/experience:

- Minimum 1 year of previous experience working in a an office support role specifically in the medical / healthcare related field

- Previous medical records experience preferred

- General office skills (i.e. faxing, filing, scanning, copying, answering a multi-line phone)

- Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc.

- Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail

- High School Diploma required, some college a plus but not required
