Mechanic II

Description:

Perform inspections and schedule vehicles for maintenance.

Perform minor maintenance to a variety of vehicles including cars, vans, buses; both gasoline and diesel.

Coordinate with retail facilities for other maintenance of vehicles.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED; or six months related experience; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Automobile Mechanics Course Certificate preferred.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED: Excellent computer, oral / written communication, customer service, and organizational skills required. Able to read, understand and follow detailed instructions and diagrams. Must have time management /multi-tasking skills, able to work independently, self-starter with supervisory experience a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Criminal Background Check and Pre-employment & random drug/alcohol screenings. Must have safe driving record and able to obtain a Class B (air brakes) CDL w/Passenger endorsement within 90 days of employment and frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
