This position has the responsibility of performing engineering duties in planning and designing mechanical components for Construction Leveling and Machine Control Systems focusing on reliability, performance, cost effective design in both tooling and components, safety, and ease of manufacturability. It also has the responsibility for introducing new designs into manufacturing and ensuring quality issues are addressed.
Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of mechanical designs, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, test criteria, suppliers and components, while meeting design schedules and cost targets.
