Paralegal to a District Judge


Position: The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas has a position open for a paralegal to a United States District Judge. Paralegals assist the Judge by reviewing legal documents for completeness and accuracy; conducting legal research, composing and preparing documents that may require substantial research or analysis, and other duties assigned by the Judge. There is daily interaction with the Judge concerning legal and court-related issues.

Qualifications: To qualify for the position of paralegal a person must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and have three years of progressively responsible experience that is in or closely related to the work of the position, or possess a juris doctorate from a law school of recognized standing.
