The University of Arkansas is seeking applications for an individual to serve in a full‐time, 12‐month, non-classified, appointed position as an Academic Technologist, at the School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach‐Global Campus.
Reporting directly to the Associate Director of Instructional Design and Support Services, the Academic Technologist serves as a key member of the Instructional Design and Support Services unit by providing expertise and support with regard to the design and development of effective learning environments. Duty areas include Instructional Design, Faculty Support and Training, Course Management, Research, and Other Duties as Assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
The Global Campus supports U of A colleges and schools in the development and delivery of online, distance and workforce education programs and courses. It provides instructional design services, technology services and assistance with marketing, recruiting and strategic academic development.
