GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Project Management Specialist is responsible for managing and implementing entry level projects into Centennial Bank or other HBI entities as assigned while working within a standardized Project Management methodology. Works with all levels of personnel and management within the Centennial Bank and HBI organization to implement and facilitate limited scope initiatives within the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage and implement data processing, bank operations and other projects. This duty is performed annually, about 50% of the time.

2. Work with third party vendors when needed to provide total banking solutions for Centennial Bank and HBI affiliates. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.

3. Facilitate the Communication between technical personnel and other stakeholders regarding complex system issues and data transfer methodologies. This duty is performed daily, about 20% of the time.

4. Create detailed functional specifications to support implementation efforts. This duty is performed daily, about 10% of the time.

5. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

6. Completes required BSA/AML training and other compliance training as assigned. This duty is performed as needed.

7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of a specialized field (however acquired), such as basic accounting, computer, etc. Equivalent of four years in high school, plus night, trade extension, or correspondence school specialized training, equal to two years of college, plus 19 to 23 months related experience and/or training, and 7 to 11 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Required education and experience:
1 - 2 years project management experience in a conversion and systems implementation environment.
1 - 2 years customer service experience
1 - 2 years in bank operations and a thorough understanding of transaction processing applications and concepts.

Preferred education and experience:
College degree in a business related field.

Required proficiencies:
Project management ability.
Ability to communicate well in implementation and conversion meetings and with all level of employees and management.
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees in the HBI organization as well as third party vendors and technical support personnel.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize numerous tasks.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining good relations with coworkers.
Ability to coordinate and negotiate with all levels of management and employees.
Situational awareness is key; The development of judgment and discretion are essential.
Ability to use MS Office applications to prepare presentations/materials and to track projects using Microsoft Project.
Ability to learn and adhere to a structured project management methodology.
Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
