Technology & Facility Support Specialist


The University of Arkansas is seeking applications for an individual to serve in a full‐time, 12‐month, classified, appointed position as the Technology & Facility Support Specialist at the School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach‐Global Campus, Fayetteville facility.

The primary responsibility for the Technology & Facility Support Specialist is to provide technical and facility support to staff within the Global Campus and various off-campus groups. This position will respond to technical and facility support requests that are primarily submitted using a Help Desk ticketing system, e-mail, and/or phone; executes equipment setup, removal, and maintenance for staff; and is responsible for the technology and facility related set up for the Global Campus meeting rooms.

This position supports all building assets and grounds at the Global Campus facilities in Fayetteville; supports facility projects and functions as a liaison on behalf of the Global Campus with UA Facilities Management, contracting representatives, campus police, and building occupants; supports general building maintenance, repairs and upgrades, and office moves. Interfaces with University custodial, maintenance, security, and grounds keeping staff; manages all activities and processes related to inventory management; and assumes responsibility for maintenance and upkeep of Global Campus vehicles and all inventory assets.
