Chris Pyle

Chris Pyle's parents drilled into him two principles: "Do everything as if you're doing it for God. And be faithful in the little things and you'll be rewarded with much," he said. Pyle said that he has been faithful and has been rewarded with more duties throughout his life. After graduating with a master's degree in public policy from Regent University in Virginia, Pyle went to work for then-Gov. Mike Huckabee as a speechwriter and policy adviser between 1996 and 2006. Pyle got out of the political arena and went to work for Delta Dental of Arkansas in Sherwood, the state's largest dental insurance provider, as the company's director of communications and community relations. In 2007, Pyle helped attract more than $341,000 worth of news stories for Delta Dental and its charitable activities. In 2007 and 2008, Pyle also handled public relations for the Arkansas Mission of Mercy, a two-day free dental clinic. He said working for a company that is so involved in the community is "very fulfilling." Away from Delta Dental, Pyle, 37, serves on the board of First Tee of Central Arkansas. He also is the chair of the Alltel McDonald Classic golf tournament coming up in August. It will benefit the Ronald McDonald House
