In October 2009, Mark Rose became general manager of KATV-TV, Channel 7, replacing Dale Nicholson. A few months later, in December, Rose celebrated his 20th anniversary with the station. The station led the market in evening news according to the November 2010 TV ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
