The nation's 42nd president remains Arkansas' most famous son, although even his influence couldn't help Arkansas Democrats during the Republican tsunami of 2010. Clinton makes frequent trips to Little Rock for charitable causes and has helped promote tourism to his home state, especially through the Clinton Presidential Library in downtown Little Rock.
