EagleOne
City:Fort Smith
Category: Category III (76-300 Employees)
Published: 2007

EagleOne Inc., privately owned by Greg Hasley, has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the United States over the past few years, twice making Inc. magazine’s list of “Fastest Growing Companies in America.”

EagleOne handles logistics for expedited shipments, warehousing and distribution with a primary focus on managing daily routed courier deliveries. It offers coverage to 27 cities in eight states. In Arkansas, it has offices in Jonesboro, Little Rock, Springdale and Texarkana in addition to its Fort Smith office. It operates more than 500 courier routes serviced by independent contractors at its 18 facilities nationwide. The company delivers some 27 million pieces each year.

Incorporated in 1994, EagleOne started as a small, local courier service storing and transporting documents. Hasley showed health care operators how they could save money by using his services for delivery of hospital goods. Health care remains a primary customer base of the business, but it now offers clients a wide variety of services for sensitive goods, ranging from office supply deliveries, warehousing and distribution, freight and retail and wholesale pharmaceutical deliveries.

EagleOne operates a full-time 24/7 call center, Customer 1st, to meet the needs of its clients. The company purposely chose to slow growth last year to focus on building its infrastructure to catch up with its fast growth.

EagleOne sees future expansion opportunity in the oil field market, offering expedited transportation services to those companies involved in the Barnett Shale Play in Texas, the Fayetteville Shale Play in Arkansas and gas play areas in Mississippi and Alabama. It has vans to deliver smaller items such as core samples, and it has 40-foot gooseneck trailers to deliver pipe.
