David Bush Joins BancorpSouth As Senior Vice President (Banking Movers & Shakers)

David Bush, formerly senior vice president and commercial lending manager at Delta Trust & Bank, has joined the staff of BancorpSouth in Little Rock as SVP.

Bush has 15 years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis and loan review.

Bush is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and of Leadership Greater Little Rock.

Jones Hired by Citizens To Combine Loan Processing

Pam Jones has joined Citizens Bank of Batesville in the newly created position of senior vice president of loan operations.

Jones has assumed responsibility for the bank’s note department, loan processing and credit administration, which she will combine to create a loan processing center.

Jones served for the last seven years as senior vice president of loan operations at Southern Bancorp Bank in Arkadelphia.

Malvern National Bank Rolls Out Exec Team

Brian Coker has been named chief operating officer of Malvern National Bank, and Kyle Keeney has been named president of the Malvern market.

In conjunction with opening a new branch on Taylor Street in Little Rock’s Heights neighborhood, MNB has hired John Fowler as Little Rock market president. Mike Rushing has been hired as market president for Saline County.

Rusty Guerra has been hired as chief credit officer, and Brent Godwin is the bank’s new chief risk officer.

Steve Phillips and Austin Brightop have been hired as commercial lenders in the Little Rock market.

Simmons Announces Multiple Promotions

Simmons First National Bank of Pine Bluff has promoted Shannon Morgan to administrative officer.

A 15-year employee, Morgan also has the titles of project manager and administrative assistant for the marketing group and assistant secretary for Simmons First Foundation.

Network Administrators Justin Rhodes and Matt Sorey have been promoted to information technology officers. Rhodes has been employed by Simmons for 14 years, and Sorey has been with the company for eight years.

Jennifer Spradlin, branch manager in the Russellville market, has been promoted to administrative officer. An employee of the Simmons corporation for almost 17 years, Spradlin was previously community reinvestment coordinator and most recently senior financial services representative.

Kelly Williams has been promoted to business development officer and holds the position of community bank sales manager in the Russellville market. He joined Simmons in April 2013 and was previously a merchant services regional sales representative.

Relyance Adds Directors, Names New Vice President

Relyance Bank of Pine Bluff has named three new members to its board of directors: David Ferrell, Marshall Kelley and Thomas Murchison III.

The bank also named Mandi Krauss vice president of business development for its Hot Springs market.

Ferrell and his wife, Suzanne, own and operate Hunter’s Refuge in White Hall, and he is also a real estate broker with Ferrell Realty. Kelley is the operational manager of Brown Funeral Homes in Pine Bluff, Fordyce and Dumas.

Murchison is involved in various business ventures such as North Little Rock Jet, Mid-South Farming and the Arkansas Big Buck Classic. He serves on the boards of England Liquid Fertilizer and various charitable organizations.

A Hot Springs native, Krauss earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing at Louisiana Tech University and is a graduate of Leadership Hot Springs.
