NanoMech Expanding, Plans To Hire 30

1 min read

NanoMech of Springdale is already outgrowing its new production facility as the company plans to continue to expand its manufacturing capacity.

In an interview with Arkansas Business last week, CEO Jim Phillips said that while the company’s recently completed 25,000-SF headquarters and new production facility provided a boost, more capacity is needed for its future projects. Phillips said the company has hired 20 people in the past year and has plans to hire another 30 in the coming months.

NanoMech uses nanomanufacturing to improve products that are used in a variety of industries, including agriculture, oil and gas, aviation, auto manufacturing and racing.

Phillips and Ajay Malshe, the company’s founder, executive vice president and chief technology officer, said NanoMech recently finished the design for a new production facility.

Phillips said the company plans to build a new factory each year at the Springdale Technology Park site and also hopes to add production facilities at its Detroit and Houston locations. He said he thinks awareness about what the company does is catching on.

“Everyone wants it to be smaller, lighter and last forever,” Phillips said.
