Grainster’s Big Announcement Delayed Until Further Notice

1 min read

If you were holding your breath to learn what Grainster’s “big announcement” was, you’ll have to keep waiting.

If you recall, the startup online grain-trading company based in Conway said in April that it would have a “big announcement” about its funding on May 18.

After May 18 came and went without a peep, we called Chief Operating Officer Cotton Rohrscheib to see what happened.

“We’ve been real busy … getting into our new office” in Conway, he said. “We’ve had several meetings out of town. That’s really the gist of it.”

He said last week that he wasn’t ready to release details about the announcement.

And he didn’t have a date when an announcement would be made.

“We have a lot of different things that we’re working through — a lot of exciting things,” Rohrscheib said. “Some of these things that we’re doing take a lot longer than I ever anticipated.”

Neither the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission nor the Arkansas Securities Department had a filing on Grainster as of last week.
